I HAVE OVERCOME THE WORLD FOR YOU

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace . In this world you will have trouble but take heart i have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)

When I read this verse this morning, I realized that we have everything we need to keep us going despite whatever we are going through. We have Jesus and here he assures us that there’s nothing to worry about, absolutely nothing, because it’s all taken care of by him.

God never said it was going to be easy but it will be worth it. There is fear, stress, worry, and all kinds of things down the road, but not everything; he has called us to do will be comfortable. In Joshua 1:9 it says, be strong and courageous do not be afraid for I am with you wherever you go. We just have to believe and trust him because he came, he saw, and he lived it all. He knows what we are going through each day, so he is prepared and he has planned everything for us according to his will, and his will is the best for us. Just walk and follow the word.

Before you Speak!!

Hello Family,

I have missed y’all so much, I’ve been really trapped in some other situations and didn’t get a chance to get back to you. I hope y’all still be my friends and forgive me 🙏. Today I want to share with you something God had put inside of me for a little while now and hopefully you find something good in this post today for your soul.

In the Bible it says: “The mouth of the righteous utters wisdom and his tongue speaks justice.” The righteous should know when to open his mouth and also knows how to speak. How often our mouth gets us in trouble. As a righteous we have to ask ourselves before we say anything to anyone or give any advice, ask ourselves if it’s necessary for this to come out because once it comes out we can’t get it back; we can only apologize but in certain situations what that can we do? We have to stop and think, ask God for wisdom before we throw any words out because our words can build and can destroy. Once we ask him for wisdom then we’ll start to speak life into other people’s ives, build each other up and enjoy life better.

We have to ask God to help us with this, lock our lips and help us think before we speak mostly if we agitated anything can come out. We wanna speak with wisdom and as the righteous people that we are.

Happy Mother’s Day to all you mothers out there. You are doing a great job!!

Praise Your Way Out

The praise should start first then it shall come to pass. When you thank him in advance you’re letting him know he comes first, not what you want or what you in the wait for. He then gives you more strength in the waiting process and if he promised then he will deliver. But remember in the waiting room, in the lobby, you thank him for answering, you thank him for responding.

In Mark 11:24 it says therefore I say to you all things for which you pray and ask believe that you have received them, and they will be granted to you. If I believe that I already received them, they will be granted to me. So why not thanking him for things I know that are already coming my way.

Silas and Paul didn’t wait to see a miracle happen to start their praise. They started to praise and thank him in advance because they know and believed somehow he is coming for them. You have to know how to respond to hard time in the waiting room, God wants to see how you trust him in the wait period, in the difficulties and the extent of your faithfulness.

Praise your way out! Don’t mind anyone else; they probably won’t understand how you praising already in your situation. Use your heart, mind, spirit and body to show God how thankful you are in advance so you can receive the breakthrough you desire.

Know your Soul!!

Deep inside you know who you are, you carry light in your smile, you are full of potential within you, and you are the only version of yourself and no one can become you.

Why do we still struggle knowing our inner-self? Because society makes you believe you not enough, but Ephesians 2:10 says different, “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” So you are enough and worthy. Your Soul is full with imperishable quality of a gentle and quiet spirit. You don’t need anyone to validate you, mistakes will be made but lessons will learned. Your soul is golden and beautiful.

Know your soul that others will crave your vibes, give yourself the time and the chance to grow, and you won’t regret that you went through hell of a time to becoming you.

What If’s???

Hey Fam 👋 I got something different for you this morning that just pop inside of me and I realize this is exactly what we need right now in this new year. A reminder: do not let “what if” become a bad reality in your life when you sit on your couch years later. Use it now and wisely.

Start planning your “what if” idea now to prepare your future instead of using it later in the future to say “what if” you had done such and such thing in the past. Time is in your hands now let’s start acting like our days are numbered. In Psalms 90:12 the Bible says, teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom. When you have wisdom heart you act quickly and you use your time wisely. Also Ephesians 5:6 says, make the best use of the time because the days are evil. When I had this feeling, ideas to start this blog I was dwelling on it for long time because I had so many other negative ideas popping into my head telling me it’s a waste of time, who’s going to read it, how many people would be interested. Then one day I felt God was pushing me more and more towards that direction to start my blog right away, and I feel in my spirit something says it doesn’t matter how many people are involved in this as long as it helps and touches one single person. That was my starting point, then I said to myself “what if” I start it and just sit watch it grow or I don’t start it and later regrettably saying “what if” I had started my blog back then and what would it be today. I’ve seen people liking my blog page on Facebook, I’ve seen others comments saying Amen, Glory to God etc.; even if it’s not a lot but I’m happy just knowing out there I’m sure it helping and changing at least one’s life and that’s a blessing to me. Put your “what if” in action now and think what if I start doing this or that. Then think about the aftermath, the results you get; and also think about years later, see how “what if” feels like if you had done certain things in your past, how your years later would look like.

Be wise to think about your future, as I do say often “Do something your future self will thank you later.” Try out new things every time until it’s your time. Start planning your “what if” and start acting. Happy New Year Family, God bless!

Be The Vessel

Good morning Family! OMG, how I have missed our little space. Well here I am and I hope all is well for you and your family. I want to talk to you a little about you and I being a vessel for God and to let him use us.

A vessel has different meanings. It can be a bottle that contains water, or a tube that transports blood throughout the body, but in general all of them are some kind of carrier. According to Joel 2:28, he will pour our his spirit on all people, our children will prophesy, elderly will have dreams, youth will see vision when we let him get to us and be used. He’s looking and searching for whom among us is ready and willing to be used because he won’t force you. He will open your eyes to see who he is and what a great ministry he has waiting for you so you can decide on your own to be used by him. When we go to him willingly and let him use us and work on us, in 2 Timothy 2, we will be set apart for the kingdom work, he will infuse his grace in us that we can reach out to others and tell them about the grace of God.

He choses to work through us as flawed and fearful human beings like us as his vessels to be the light in this world. He could do anything by himself or use his angels but he choses us awestruck and sinner human beings. Let’s just obey and work for the greater good of the kingdom.

He did it in Jerusalem, Samaria, and Galilee; He can do it again wherever you are

Jesus had done it all, nothing is impossible for him. It’s all left in the Bible for us to know that he has no limit. Like the doctors, lawyers, pastors, family, friends, etc, he’s a miracle worker.

When we’re looking at the map of Jesus’ ministry, it shows how he traveled to so many places to help others from Jerusalem, Samaria, and Galilee. Healing in the synagogue on Sabbath day at Jerusalem, who would dare to do anything on that day? (Matthew 12:9-14) But he did it; for him there’s no time or day, no matter where you are that he can pull you out of any situation.

He traveled to Samaria to continue with his ministry. In John 4:4 there he met this woman and she was surprised how he knows so much about her life. With a simple conversation with her, Jesus changes her life. He doesn’t just heal people, he also changes hearts and turns lives around. Just like he did it on the cross through his blood for us, that was the greatest turn around in history.

At Cana in Galilee, he manifested his glory at a wedding when the wine runs out. (John 2:1-11) Everyone was in a panic but he wasn’t. While great wine takes a long time to ferment, Jesus bypassed that entire process in moments. In fact the Bible says when the master of the banquet tested the wine, he didn’t realize where he came from and told the bride and groom that they had saved the best for later. When I tell you he can turn any situation around, he can and he will bring the best out your situation.

He had done it all before. Just trust in him, and talk to him. He doesn’t care about who you are, where you are right now or even what day it is. He will just come and turn everything around into your favor.

He Favored You For His Blessings

Hey family! I’m so excited to be with you again today in our little space where we can share God’s Word. I would like to talk to you about God’s favor. God’s favor is always for a purpose and it’s something unmerited. When he favors you, you don’t sit on it; you got to walk in your purpose.

In the Bible, there are many scriptures and stories about God’s favor like the life of Joseph. His brothers hated him for the favor seed, for what God had placed in him. In Genesis 37 it talks about how they hated him just for the dream and the beautiful tunic made by his father. Imagine if they were there in the moment of Joseph’s installation as governor? What other kinds of tricks would they have rolled out of their sleeves to stop him from walking in his purpose/favor? But God, but God!!

When God has picked you, no matter what the favor will fall upon you. In Psalms 90:17 it says “may the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us.” It doesn’t matter who else has rejected you, God’s favor outweighs anything that could come across. There were other people in Egypt that Pharaoh could have picked, Jeremiah 29:11 says “”for I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”” So Joseph was in God’s plan.

God’s favor could make you enter places that you could not go on your own. No one could stop God’s favor for you. In Psalms 23:5, God arranges a table before you in the presence of the enemy to watch you walk in your favor. Your cup will overflow with blessings. I pray that his favor will come alive for you today and that his blessings meet your every need.

6 Reasons To Read Your Bible

First, God instructs us to read the Bible. In Joshua 1:8, it says to “keep this book of the Law always on your lips, meditate day and night.” When God says something, we have to obey, so we can’t take the liberty of neglecting his words. We can show obedience to God by immersing ourselves in his words and keeping our thoughts pure.

Second, it’s our search engine for our lives. It’s the place where we can can get all of the answers to the questions about our lives. Who created us? (Genesis 1:26-27) Why were we created? (Isaiah 43:7) What is the plan of God for our lives? (Jeremiah 29:11) “For I know the plan for you declares the Lord, plans to proper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Third, it empowers us. We find strength in the Word to the weary and it increases the power of the weak. But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. (Isaiah 40:31) We will learn to recognize the inner awareness we have of ourselves through God. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us according to Philippians 4:13. So do not fear for he is with us and he has given us victory.

Fourth, to become more like God. Becoming like him involves forgetting about ourselves and putting others first. To live a life of love just like Jesus Christ loves us involves having all of the Fruits of the Spirit which are love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, temperance, faith, meekness. (Galatians 5:22-23)

Fifth, to be spiritually nourished. It helps us to be more connected and get into an intimate relationship with him. According to Matthew 4:4, it says “man shall not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.” Learn to seek his presence through his words.

Finally, the Bible is eternal. It’s like an unending because the Word eternal. Matthew 24:35 says “heaven and earth will pass away but my words shall not pass.” The world as we know it today will one day cease to exist which will be the end of time. But blessed be the ones of the us that hears the words, meditate on it and practice it, because all that will truly matter is his words that will lead us to his glory.

Please take the time in the morning to read your Bible. Sadly we’re more focused on the stuff of life and neglect the Word. From today I challenge you to commit to reading your Bible everyday and you will see how you can grow.
